Autumn in the Dee Valley, North Wales

A steam train on the Llangollen Railway passing by Horseshoe Falls

I've been out again doing some photography for Natural Resources Wales on the LifeDeeRiver restoration project, trying to capture the autumn colours although the weather of late isn't making it easy. Fortunately there's been a couple of breaks in the weather and nice ones they were too... some gorgeous light in Llangollen and a stunning day of autumnal mist around Pontcysyllte Aqueduct and Corwen a little further along the Dee Valley.

Find out the wonderful restoration work taking place as part of the LifeDeeRiver project by following their Facebook page:  https://www.facebook.com/LIFEAfonDyfrdwy/
