Llandudno fireworks display - a spectacular night in North Wales
Llandudno fireworks display was pretty amazing tonight, for some reason it's the first time I've been but it certainly won't be the last. Autumn in the Dee Valley, North Wales
I've been out again doing some photography for Natural Resources Wales on the LifeDeeRiver restoration project, trying to capture the autumn colours although the weather of late isn't making it easy. Fortunately there's been a couple of breaks in the weather and nice ones they were too... some gorgeous light in Llangollen and a stunning day of autumnal mist around Pontcysyllte Aqueduct and Corwen a little further along the Dee Valley.

First stop was Berwyn and the view of the Chainbridge and then a quick shot on the bridge in Llangollen. North Wales Slate Quarries listed as Unesco World Heritage Site
Great to see North Wales's Slate Quarries being recognised by Unesco as a World Heritage Site today, for me they're a massive part of the character of the area, not maybe the "Chocolate box" landscapes of other parts of the UK but all the better for it.... here's a glimpse of some of the amazing views and industrial heritage to be discovered.
A beautiful sunrise photo of Snowdon Yr Wyddfa from Llynnau Mymbyr in Snowdonia national park
Running a sunrise 121 workshop this morning so 3.30am alarm again.... one lucky customer today though, you don't see Snowdon quite like this all that often... lovely misty sunrise at Llynnau Mymbyr. Just a quick handheld shot in between talking about histograms & exposure bracketing.
