Slater’s Bridge is a 17th century packhorse bridge in Little Langdale spanning the River Brathay, made completely from slate, and built by miners working in the nearby Tilberthwaite Fells. It’s passed on a beautiful circular walk linking Great Langdale to Little Langdale and this image was taken on a recent visit to the area just before sunset with some wonderful warm light falling on the bridge and the surrounding landscape.
