North Wales is an area steeped in history and heritage and has some of the most spectacular scenery in the world. You’ll discover a coastline of golden, sandy beaches at Talacre, Prestatyn, Dinas Dinlle and on the Llyn Peninsula the popular resort of Abersoch and Aberdaron. At the Victorian seaside resort of Llandudno the dramatic limestone headlands of the Little and Great Orme are places to admire the wonderful views of the coast and a visit to Conwy, Caernarfon and Harlech is a chance to explore the ancient castles that tower over the surroundings. Travel inland and beautiful scenery is everywhere from the Clwydian Hills and the beautiful Dee Valley around Llangollen, home to the amazing Pontcysyllte Aqueduct to the wooded valley of the Vale of Clwyd.
