Buachaille Etive Mor sunrise from the Lagangarbh Hut
The Lagangarbh Hut, often known as the Wee White House, is an iconic cottage located alongside the River Coupall in Glencoe and under the shadow of the areas most photographed mountain peak, Buachaille Etive Mor. I’d planned to visit this for sunrise during my photography trip but the first couple of days were just too cloudy for any chance on good sunrise light. The final day looked much more promising though so I arrived nice and early to get the best spot. To my surprise I was all alone and it stayed like this through what turned out to be the most beautiful light I had during all my stay in Glencoe. The sun rose breaking through the cloud cover and lit up the mountainside with a gorgeous, warm glow. It lasted for just a few minutes but wow, what a few minutes.
